This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.

It takes dozens of attemtps to get it back up. The final 6" and it goes up in place. Just like something near the middle/bottom of the open/closure cycle that causes sticking.

Believe me they look. We have had plenty of repairs of tahoes and such where we have to install oem cats and take of those junks converters. Dec 3, 2015 · Our SRX is a 2011 model and we just recently started having issues. It has roughly 50k miles. - The Lift Gate - Just took the SRX in for an oil change. Once we left, we found two problems. The tire sensors were never reset and our lift gate started having problems. The lift gate would open part way and then go back down by itself.

It takes dozens of attemtps to get it back up. The final 6" and it goes up in place. Just like something near the middle/bottom of the open/closure cycle that causes sticking. Symptoms include shifting delays, grinding or jumping during acceleration, the car shaking at any speed, or a burning smell or whistling sounds coming from under the hood. Stopping required stepping hard on the pedal, which went all the way down the the floor. It felt very much like old, manual brakes on older cars. It was like there was no power brakes at all.
