Fang is simply a solid weapon the whole game through, with good poise damage, a unique and very good art of war, and does all physical so it's always at least somewhat effective. Elenoras is a blast to use though, and if you learn it's spacing it can also be very effective.

Dual weilding curved swords got nerfed just as hard. But dual curved swords have an actually good moveset, and even with nerfs they are still decent. Yes! Right before the patch I was using godskin peeler with blood hound step in right hand and Eleonora's poleblade in left. Blood hound step is so fun, but I also really like the poleblade L2 ability. I'll definitely be leveling up the poleblade as more of a priority after patch. Twin blades are the best!

I went with arcame, the dmg is still really good and I can cast most if the dragon incantations. It scales better with Arcane, so I'd focus on that until around 60, which is a major cap ...
