The premiums are good and volatility is relatively high. I think selling covered calls on this after you buy at support levels is a safe way to not lose money and if there is any fear in the market from bad news, I've seen uvxy go up from $11 to $15, then back down to $10-$11. Some people seem to anticipate that there will be significant price moves in UVXY, motivated by a reverse split. I’m not in that camp.
