Darioush was founded with the mission of graciously sharing uncommon perspectives of the world in an extraordinary way. Our purpose is two-fold: to produce world-class, distinctive wines from our southern Napa Valley vineyards and craft engaging hospitality experiences that redefine modern luxury. The vineyards that make up the source of the fruit for Darioush Winery are seated in three different micro-climates. This adds to the flavor of the wine, and makes the products created by Darioush unique. These three locations are found on Mount Veeder AVA, Oak Knoll AVA and Napa Valley AVA. The term AVA stands for appellation.The art adorning 2014 Darius II depicts the tradition of the Saghi, or Wine Bearer, an influential and heralded position in the ancient Persian royal courts, among aristocrats, in wine houses and in mystical and religious traditions over a thousand years old.
