updating/redirecting screenshots folder to clear/free up space from my C drive i moved the documents folder onto my G drive, but now i cant do screenshots ingame it tells me screenshot has failed. is there somewhere i need to go into ff14 setting to redefine the screenshot path?

GShade is whitelisted for Final Fantasy XIV. It is basically Reshade but comes with a lot of user created presets and its own installer. If you know how to use Reshade, GShade won't be much of a challenge, keep the installed shaders and presets if you like to or replace them with your own.
