I haven't tried Tradovate, but Ninja Trader is good. Normally $500 margin for daytrading index e-minis, $50 /contract for micros, double right now due to the high volatility. This is because I use SierraChart and Jigsaw. SierraChart has the most stable data connection and excellent trade copier and most customizable charts. Jigsaw has one of the best DOM.
