The biggest advantage the G43X/G48 have over the 15 round capacity G19 is weight. The G43X/G48 weighs nearly 7 oz less than the G19. Some of that is the 5 extra rounds that the G19 carries.

It looks like the exterior shell construction is combination of polymer and metal. They recommend that you use a POLYMER mag catch (i.e., you don't have to upgrade to a metal mag catch like you do with the Shield Arms 15-round mag).
