Ranger 500 4x4 gear shifting problems. '05 Polaris Ranger 500 4x4 has approx .350hrs. Noticed about 4 months ago when I shift gear lever into H, it made a grinding sound. I needed to shift it back to N a couple times and then into H until I hear it click into H. I bought some michelin tires at costco a while back. Had them for a year and they were all weather cracked. Took them back. They said we can't do anything for you, "these tires are 4 years old". One thing is you don't put a 20 amp fuse in a 10amp spot because a fuse is a circuit Protector and puting a 20 in a 10 would damage whatever is on that circuit. You should've put in a 10 amp fuse and not a 20 Amp fuse then you would've not had a problem.

Seen this on generals, ranger and rzrs when using high and starting out on inclines or with heavy loads. If it is, you'll need a new belt.
