On the Timemaster the blade is engaged when the bail cable pulls a spring attached to the Arm-Brake, which has an idler pulley that puts tension on the blade drive belt (between engine pulley and blade spindles). When mine is engaged, that arm-brake bracket is vibrating quite a bit.
