Hello; Most TV's offer a few options for the way closed captioning is displayed on your screen. I don't know your make and model TV, but in the menu under CC (closed captioning) section, you should have a few different options. Each one of these will vary. a little.

I see this, when looking at shows that were recorded for XFINITY stream. I also have seen at least one on-demand show for ABC that was similarly out of sync.
