Oct 5, 2019 · Best Build for Moze the Gunner. In Borderlands 3, the playable character Moze is the gunner class and she has some of the best skills in the game. She is an ex military badass that has the ability to tank damage and dish it out too, depending on your play style. Moze is likely to be a favorite among fans of the series.
The skill tree in the below is up there for a max damage output approach. Just be aware that skills such as Fire in the skag den and big surplus get mayhem scaling so won't appear to be that great initially through the story run through.Short answer: if you aren't capping the blue tree, putting 5/5 in fire in the skag den along the way, you most likely don't have a good build for Moze. Doing that, picking splash damage weapons, and then working your way down the green and purple trees as you see fit should get you 80% of the way there.Moze's strongest purple tree skill, Harmonious Havoc, DOES NOT WORK AFTER EXITING IRON BEAR. Do not invest in this skill until its fixed. Tested on an IBE 125 and ASE weapons, watch active kills at the bottom of the screen and the shock damage ticks on the test dummy.Moze, just because you can do a pretty simple IB build and be able to solo everything no issue, without any dlc. Zane is strong, but does feel lacking without the 4th tree. FL4K is my favorite, and their purple tree isn't very good, so you aren't missing out much. (NOTE: requires most guns you use to do splash damage) Blue tree: "means of destruction" for ammo and grenade regen, "vampyr" for health regen when throwing grenades. rest of the skills focus on getting Iron bear back as soon as possible and for infinite ammo.
