Destiny 2 legend lost sector not showing.

So i know you have to complete the lost sector normally to have access to the legend version however after season of the haunted drop i have not been able to do a single legend lost sector. I was running the Scavenger's Den lost sector on Legend difficulty for the exotic boots and I noticed that even after killing all the champions (all 5 of them), I wasn't given the platinum rewards. Exotics are rare in legend lost sectors and without platinum rewards, its nearly impossible to get the exotic. This happened to me multiple times today.

Haven't obtained a single exotic yet from lost sectors that has max stats, feel like I should just wait for Xur. There needs to be more of a reward for the pain, like special armor/weapons that only drop from lost sectors and guaranteed cores. My legend lost sectors wont appear. I have completed the normal lost sector, I'm power 1262 and the legend lost sector wont show up. I've made sure that the specific lost sector I'm at is the legend one for the day too.
