Nov 27, 2012 · The Shield is a better choice for concealment. The Glock will give you much more ammo. The accessories are more prevalent and easier to find for the Glock, too. I've had a Shield Plus for several months. Great micro nine. Carries well IWB appendix or hip. No complaints after 400+ rounds. Last week I tried a Glock 34 and 19 at the range. The 19 didn't ring my bell, but I really liked the 34. I'm looking for a full size OWB holster pistol to fit with optical sight and light.I have both and carry the Shield more often than the 27, its smaller and a good shooter. As far as recoil, it is a 40 - I can clear the mag in couple of seconds all COM. I dont really feel a big diffrence at the range switching back and forth. The Shield has a longer grip if you use the extended mag (holds 7).

Posted May 27, 2016. Glock 26 all the way . The 26 is fat and thick but it will shoot forever with hardly any replacement parts. It will accept the 19 , 17 , 34 , and other high capacity mags in 9mm. Bottom line is the 26 is tried and true and has an awesome track record . I had a Shield in 9mm.

To expand a little more, the Hellcat Pro is actually an answer to the demand for the P365XL.The ~4oz. or so of weight difference is also small but noticeable over the course of the day.
