Tradovate has god awful charting imo. Ninja Trader is expensive af, you pay $1k for the lifetime version and they only offer a demo of the leased version, so not even a demo of all the features. On top of that, it's got bad performance. I've had it crash multiple times during my demo and I have a good computer.

Get a futures broker. Amp futures, ninja trader, Tradovate are a few. They have much lower commission ($.3x-$.5x) each way for micro contracts. Months ago I did the break even analysis for Tradovate as a broker and a third party platform. Basically you were never better off with this setup if you traded micros. But you could come out ahead with Minis as long as you were doing like 150+ round turns a month (forgot the exact number)
