The light load's roll is not faster, does not cover a larger area, and does not deplete less stamina. The light roll clearly goes a further distance. Anybody can test this in game by doing a light and a medium roll and comparing. Unfortunately it’s not as big of a difference as it SHOULD be, but it’s clearly different.
