The track encompasses preconception, antepartum, intrapartum and antenatal care in community, hospital and simulation-based environments. Through collaboration with family medicine and obstetric clinicians, midwives and lactation consultants, the track allows for individualized training tailored to the resident’s goals.
This session is comprised of 4 different components: Sports Cardiology, Rheumatology, Concussion Center, and Physical Therapy. Electives: 4 weeks in January, 8 weeks in May and June. LVHN’s division of geriatrics, housed within the departments of family and internal medicine, consists of 14 physicians and 10 nurse practitioners who provide care for a vast variety of diagnoses across multiple settings.
