Oanda changed my demo account server. Rants. I had been using this particular demo account for the last 2 weeks or so. Been practicing my new strategy successfully on indices. I was previously on the Practice 4 server which which was perfect. Fast forward today, I get an email from Oanda saying they've moved me to a Practice 2 server.

I have traded with both and my answer will vary depending on how you trade. Oanda's stated costs are cheaper overall but the spreads can go crazy wide during news or at times, it seems, for no reason at all. I have traded with them off and on for years and every time I go with them I get reminded quickly why I left.
