The Vertigo used a sound source somewhat closer to the original UK master tape, as it doesn't have the very obvious intermittent sound level variations throughout War Pigs in particular.I've heard the AP 33 rpm for Tenor Madness, Saxophone Colossus, Bags Groove, and Coltrane With the Red Garland Trio (aka Traneing In). For all of them I've preferred the more natural sound of the AP 45 rpm reissues.
