Tivo v58 error.
Dec 16, 2023 · We are having the same issue, have had 2 service calls, and today received a new cable card and high split converter. No change, after pairing/activating, still get the V58 message on all channels.
a) Make sure the Tuning adapter is hooked correctly. b) Tuning adapter light must be solid. Has anyone see this before? I have a Roamio Plus with a SA CableCard and when I try to use tuners 5 and 6 all but the in the clear channels say not authorized and to call Comcast. Does Comcast have to do something on their end to get my 5th and 6th tuners authorized? Rumor is their "Cablecard System" is not working and it needs to be fixed... I'm sure like all the other BS lines. Unfortunately as much as I love my tivo I can't continue to suffer from crappy signal, pixelation, V58 errors and the like. I may have to walk away from tivo. Not what I want to do but simply can't deal with the issues any longer...Signal is bad or card is. Most likely you have good downstream but bad upstream so the card can't stay paired. After many calls and repeating the same information to multiple people, we eventually were told to go to the xfinity store and get a new cablecard. After installing and calling up to get it paired and restarting the TiVo it now works again. The process was not painless but at least things are working again for the time being.

There are currently two HD channels that receive V52 (Searching for Signal) errors (both are in my subscription, and one works in SD). TiVo shows no signal lock on either.
