Contacted Dexcom they told me to end sensor, and sent a replacement out. Bleeding at insertion isn't typically a problem but bleeding due to additional trauma can be. I always heard if its a bleeder, its a reader. Meaning you can get more accurate readings from the ones with a little blood but I've never had one bleed that much. If you want to clean it out, you can take a guitar clip or lancet strips and disengage the clips on the sensor to remove the transmitter for a minute or two to get it wet or wipe it ...
