Anyways, some shaders would be great to have on a RLCraft play through. My PC specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-core processor (3.40 GHz) 16 GB of ram. 64-bit. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB. Edit: Got optifine to work, now I just need to get shaders to work. Download optifine 1.12.2, place it in the mod folder, open optifine, extract to the mod folder. Presto, downloaded. Make sure you download and launch normal Minecraft 1.12.2 at least once. To be very clear, you must not run the .jar installer that you download.

If you're going for light shaders, you dont need much, just a decent graphics card and maybe 8gb ram. I have gtx 1060 and 16 gb ram, i7 and get a solid 60 fps with really light shaders. I use Sildurs Extreme Volumetric shaders and have no problems with them. I did have to tweak several minecraft graphics settings to optimise framerate so I can get around 35 fps. I use optifine 1.12.2_HD_U_E3 and my launcher settings are -Xmx24g -Xms4g (this is way overkill though). I use the recommended mod pack for RL Craft which is Chroma ...
