Toro timemaster blades not engaging.
I just picked up the TimeMaster 30 yesterday. I have had 2 other Toro mowers in the past and loved them, so when I saw the 30", I had to have it. The one problem is the engin, when blades not engaged, does not seem to run smooth, it like flutters, high low, high low... I've only mowed with it once, for about 1.5 hours.
After the blade has been sharpened, check the balance. This can best be done by using a blade balancer tool. A balanced blade will stay in a horizontal position on the balancer. A blade that is not balanced will settle to the heavy side. Running two sets of toro 20122p high lift blades. I have a set of toro 20120p on order and a set of gator g5 594-601 blades on order. I will experiment with various combinations.
