Yeah all it would take to make them better is to just add upgrades to the mothers heal trait. at 20 make it a permanent proc and then at 25 make heal for 20% more on top of the double heal. it would then even out with items.

The bow is in POTD, and if you come back too Pirates Graveyard after the end of the game (not sure about CODA version,) generic archers will have it equipped.
