New member. Feb 4, 2007. #1. Two of my fiends and myself each have a rtv900. The 04 model will spin the rear tires and climb our "test" hill in 3rd gear. It pulls better than my other friends 06 model. My 05 will climb the same hill in 2nd when cold, will not climb it when warmed up. Does not matter if full throttle or soft pedaled.

When it's removed the forks come out with it. If you try this, take good pics and post as you go. Someone on here will have done it before and guide you. Hope this is the problem. With diff lock on that engages properly but still no movement to drive shafts. Also in 4wd I have no movement as well. I took linkage control cover off and manually start machine. And manually switch gears but have no movement in any gear. Only shaft moving is the constant one from the flywheel.

You give her some gentle revs and she goes to pull away and then stops and then goes and so on. Almost like the pressure fluctuates.
