The first two melee pits were a total and utter joke. Thorn marsh was easy IF you read the pit master notes, which explicitly says to use combos to chain off one another. Took me 5-6 tries to get the energy surge one. But the thorn marsh boss was the hardest - even harder than the Enduring.
