I was gonna suggest Angbata11, but he was slowly dis-interest in MHR after awhile. I caught him previous update before and he made a lot of good LBG builds suggestions. He said that Elemental Pierce Ammo's are the strongest builds currently if done correctly and aimed with precision. I did try his build and it was solid, but its ultra risky.Powder Mantle Skill Effects. Skill Effect. Continuously attacking a large monster will cause powder to form around you. A Fun/Different LBG Build - Slicing Rapid Fire. This is my take on a different type of LBG build, apart from the Nargacuga Pierce 2 spam and any Elemental Builds using the Rathalos or Almudron LBGs. This one focuses on 2 things: Slicing Ammo and therefore cutting tails/breaking parts. It also does a decent chunk of damage overall.
Ive started dipping my toes into hbg after really enjoying my lbg build. Im usimg the barioth hbg with a pierce build. The sticky threads build has ammo up 3 and recommends looking at spare shot next. In order to fit one of those into my build though id lose 6 levels of attack boost, and 2 levels of crit eye. Mind's Eye gives you bonus damage for hitting hard spots now, but something like that is only really useful for breaking hard hitzones that become soft after they are broken (like Uragaan's chin or the metal Rath's heads), which don't really exist in Rise right now. but you'd still do the reduced damage of hitting a hard spot.
