If it’s over a fireplace, EVER, it’s too high (never understood how this dumb trend started). If you’re seated, and the bottom of the TV is even a single centimeter above you’re eye level, it’s too high. Ideally, your eye level should hit the TV between the center and about ⅓ up from the TV bottom. Any higher is always too high.
