The primary problem w/ 1oz 20ga is there are no quality wads left designed for it. The winchester wad has been disco'ed (but strangely the factory load still exists), and the SP20 wad is poor quality (basically disintegrates on firing). 7/8oz wads can be made to work if the powder is right, but leave a lot of shot above the petals.SP20 wad 17.8 grains of Longshot Winchester 209 primer 1 Oz shot ...
