Forget the Opti Spark, contact Paul at TorqHead,com they have a complete 24X system that will plug and play the LT1 with a coil over plug system that does away with Opti Spark. I brought the system last year and it works great. My 94 Z28 now has a 2002 OB2 PCM.

The torqhead kit definitely seems to be way more user friendly (plug and play install) and way more inexpensive compared to the other 24x kits I've seen.Recovery rate in the 2400-3600 range removes knock quicker so im assuming this is a common range for knock to occur. A cap and rotor should be replaced every 40,000 miles. An opti that has been installed properly will last twice that long. I have always said, replacing an opti, or doing a cap and rotor on one is no more trouble than replacing a timing belt on a Toyota or a Honda. Like. Hey guys I have a 97 Camaro Z28. I installed the new TorqHead 24x conversion and I'm using the 0411 PCM. My question is about the numerical value used in the tune for the timing. I had the car dyno tuned and the tuner said the car made the most power at 24 total timing I think it was. Don't have access to my computer at the moment to look at the tune.

I had to cut the factory plugs off and solder in the c1 & c2 connectors for the 411 PCM. All those Deutsch connectors are for the coils, injectors, precat o2 sensors, crank, cam and power to injectors, coils and o2 heater circuits.Torqhead 24x conversion.
